Our Advanced Machinery
Band and Circular Saw Machines
These machines are utilized for the longitudinal cutting of logs into workable flitches and cants. Machine operations are managed via a central control panel. The log loading device is mechanically driven, while the horizontal carriage feed is powered electrically through a robust cable and gear transmission system. The vertical support feed also utilizes a cable and gear system. The main saw is driven by flywheels and a V-belt drive equipped with an automatic shut-off mechanism.
Maximum log dimensions handled: Diameter - 1200 mm, Length - 4.0 m.
Steaming Chambers
Essential equipment used for the hydrothermal preparation (steaming) of raw wood materials prior to the slicing process, ensuring optimal wood plasticity and veneer quality.
Horizontal and Vertical Veneer Slicers - CAPITAL ST-400
These heavy-duty slicers utilize a rotary drive mechanism for the cutting device. The operational characteristics of our CAPITAL slicing machines are as follows:
- Maximum flitch height: 1200 mm;
- Maximum flitch width: 1200 mm;
- Maximum flitch length: 3300 - 4000 mm;
- Veneer thickness range: 0.4 mm - 1.0 mm;
- Cutting speed: 10 - 19 strokes per minute.
The slicing workflow includes: loading the steamed flitches onto the machine table, securely clamping the workpieces, operating the slicer, gathering the freshly sliced veneer into bundles, transferring the bundles to the dryer, turning the flitch to maximize yield, removing the backing board, clearing waste, and maintaining or replacing the blade for the next production cycle.
Veneer Dryers - BABCOCK BSH
These are continuous-operation drying units equipped with a forced air circulation system. The sliced veneer moves continuously through the dryer on a mesh belt. The working width of the drying chambers is either 2800 mm or 4000 mm, configured with 6 to 8 internal sections. The drying medium is hot air maintained at a temperature of 140 - 160 °C. The air is heated using finned heat exchangers that circulate high-temperature thermal oil. Powerful ventilators ensure an even distribution of hot air throughout the chamber.
Crucially, the BABCOCK BSH drying chambers provide a specialized "ironing" (smoothing) effect, which significantly flattens the sheets and enhances the overall quality of the finished veneer.
Veneer Guillotines - ANGELO CREMONA
Used for precision clipping and trimming of veneer bundles. The model numbers correspond directly to the blade length (3300 mm and 3950 mm), which determines the maximum length of the veneer bundles that can be processed on each machine.
